The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government run the national Tidy Towns competition. The national TidyTowns initiative was launched in 1958 when 52 towns entered in its first year. TidyTowns rapidly increased in popularity and now boasts of over 700 entrants per year. The primary focus of TidyTowns is to encourage communities to improve their local environment and make their area a better place to live, work and visit.
Working closely with the department over a number of years allowed us to produce dynamic and versatile information packs as well as certificates, results books, advertising, website, awards trophies and the management of the ceremony itself.
